We believe every adult industry worker deserves to work with dignity, safety, and respect. Our harm reduction approach provides practical, non-judgmental support to reduce risks associated with the adult industry.

Housing Assistance

Our Housing Assistance program connects individuals with safe, inclusive, and affordable housing options, as well as emergency shelter resources. We work with trusted partners to ensure access to services without stigma or discrimination, helping adult industry workers find stability and security in their living situations.

Our Vision

We envision a thriving community in which every adult industry worker is safe, supported, connected, and able to build a sustainable future, regardless of shifting technologies or societal barriers.

From Care to Canvas: The Story of Safe Work Coalition

In the heart of San Francisco—a city known for progress yet marked by inequity—adult industry workers are finding strength and visibility through the advocacy and artistry of Candace “CeeCee” Collins, founder of The Safe Work Coalition. After more than a decade in healthcare and earning her public health degree, Candace became a full-time painter in 2023. Her impressionist “porntraits,” painted in warm, defiant colors, began as personal tributes to friends and clients from her time in the trade. What started as artwork for healing quickly became a platform for visibility, truth-telling, and cultural change.Witnessing the ongoing stigma, criminalization, and lack of care faced by adult industry workers, Candace founded The Safe Work Coalition—a grassroots network advancing their rights, safety, and dignity. The Coalition advocates for the full decriminalization of sex work while providing adult industry workers with the tools, care, and community they need to thrive. Through community organizing, mutual aid, empowerment workshops, and partnerships with healthcare, legal, and housing providers, the Coalition delivers education, healthcare access, housing and legal support, and business development resources that help workers earn safely and sustainably. As technology accelerates and isolation grows, The Safe Work Coalition creates connection, visibility, and pathways to empowerment—building systems rooted in decriminalization, harm reduction, and human rights.

Where compassion became color, and art became action.
